Earth, Wind, and Fire Come to NJPAC

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents 9-time GRAMMY-winning R&B supergroup, EARTH, WIND & FIRE, one of the most influential bands in the history of American music, makes a welcome return to NJPAC performing their greatest hits ("September," "Let's Groove," "Celebrate") & more.
When the group first burst onto the scene back in the 1970s, Earth, Wind & Fire pioneered a new and lasting brand of popular music, a smooth but high-energy fusion of jazz, R&B, soul, funk, gospel, rock and dance. Almost immediately, the group's Signature Sound proved as commercially viable as it was innovative.
Earth, Wind & Fire has earned eight No. 1 R&B singles (including "Shining Star," "After the Love Has Gone," "That's the Way of the World" and "Sing a Song"), won nine GRAMMY Awards, and sold well over 100 million records worldwide. The group has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2016 received the GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award.
New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), located in downtown Newark, N.J., has the most diverse programming and audience of any performing arts center in the country, and is the artistic, cultural, educational and civic center of New Jersey - where Great Performances and events enhance and transform lives every day.
