Eagle Theatre Conservatory Offers the Chance for Stars to Shine

Eagle Theatre Conservatory, a year-round theatrical institute for all ages and levels of professionalism, has announced new plans for their spring and summer offerings.
On April 15th @ 10:00pm - 1:00pm, Eagle Theatre Conservatory will hold an Audition Workshop. The workshop will allow aspiring actors the opportunity to practice auditions songs, monologues, and cold readings, in addition to several tips and techniques, including; how to handle nerves. Future Eagle Theatre Conservatory Summer Theatre Intensive enrollees will be granted early access to audition materials for their upcoming production of Into The Woods, Jr.
"Eagle Theatre Conservatory is designed to educate, enlighten, and entertain. We aim to shine the spotlight on both training and performance, while offering opportunities for aspiring actors to build skills that will be applied in front of a live audience." states Kimberly Suskind, Director of Youth Education.
Eagle Theatre Conservatory's Summer Intensive is a five week program, featuring daily programming held by professional teaching artists, including; acting, music, improvisation, dance, audition prep, scene study, stage combat, sketch comedy, and technical theatre. Summer Intensive culminates in a fully loaded, on-stage performance of Into The Woods, Jr., presented on the Eagle's original professional Equity set!
Into The Woods, Jr., is the enchantingly spellbinding musical. Weaving everyone's favorite fairy tales together, this delightful and witty musical conjures up dazzling lyrics, sumptuous melodies and a deliciously wicked plot that begs the question... Will we ever find happily ever after? With humorous twists and turns around every bend, you won't want to miss Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack & The Beanstalk, The Evil Witch in this re-imagined production, full of whimsy and theatrical invention in a mystical world.
Co-Artistic Director Ted Wioncek III added "Eagle Theatre Conservatory offers opportunities to build both social and academic skills. Arts education is essential, as it paves the way for creativity, critical thinking, and assists in exercising one's full potential. It determines the quality of our cultural future."
