Take a blast to the past as Charlie Thomas' Drifters, Sonny Turner and more take the stage during Doo Wop Meets Motown Meets Rock & Roll on Friday, April 26th at Union County Performing Arts Center.

In 1988, Charlie Thomas' Drifters was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame after reaching the top of the charts with songs like "There Goes My Baby" "Under The Boardwalk" and "On Broadway". Sonny Turner, former lead singer of The Platters, dazzled fans with hits like "I Love You 1000 Times", "With This Ring" and "Washed Ashore". In 2005, Sonny Turner received the Lifetime Excellence in Entertainment award from the Consumer's Entertainment Exchange and Doo Wop Hall of Fame.

Also performing throughout the night is Grammy Hall of Famer Martha Reeves of The Vandellas "Dancing in the Street", The Coasters "Young Blood", and The Orlons "Don't Hang Up".

Doo Wop Meets Motown Meets Rock & Roll, presented by Rrazz Entertainment. Coming to the Union County Performing Arts Center on Friday, April 26th. Showtime is 8 pm.
