Cecil's Jazz Club Presents Charlie Apicella and The Iron City April 9

By:

Cecil's Jazz Club Presents Charlie Apicella and The Iron City playing selections from their new album "Sparks." The Iron City features Charlie Apricella on guitar, Stephen Riley on tenor saxophone, David Mattock on organ and Alan Korzin on drums.

With their soulful retro sound, Iron City's mission is to keep the people's feet tappin', heads bobbin', and groove. Powered by the compelling original tunes of guitarist Apicella, Iron City strives to break new ground while also drawing inspiration from the true masters of groove: Grant Green, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Lou Donaldson, Michael Jackson, and James Brown. "Sparks" is Iron City's second album.

The Iron City will perform at Cecil's Jazz Club April 9 at 9pm. Cover is $15. Cecil's Jazz Club is located at 364 Valley Road, West Orange NJ.
