COMPLETE WORKS OF SHAKESPEARE ABRIDGED Continues thru 3/23 at Eagle Theatre

By:

The Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton, NJ, will continue its run of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) through March 23.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) is an uproarious comedy in which three actors perform shortened versions of all of Shakespeare's 37 plays in under 97 minutes. Since debuting in 1987, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) has become one of the world's most Popular Productions. The play is notable for holding the self-proclaimed record for the fastest performance of Hamlet, clocking in at 43 seconds, as well as the fastest performance of Hamlet performed backwards, clocking in at 42 seconds. Containing numerous pop culture references and audience interactions, each performance of this show is a uniquely hilarious take on Shakespeare.

The actors in this production include Ed "Ricco" Santiago, Jonathon Fink, and Kevin Hurley. Santiago recently directed the Eagle Theatre's critically acclaimed production of A Chorus Line.

Kevin Hurley is a stand up comedian and a member of the Actors Equity Association. He also owns High Note Humor, a comedy group based in Philadelphia, PA. In 2012, Hurley was recognized as one of the top 10 finalists out of 150 competitors in the Philly's Phunniest comedy competition, held at the Helium Comedy Club.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) will run at the Eagle Theatre at 8pm on March 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23; and 3pm on March 17. Tickets are $25 for GA, and $30 for Front Rows, and can be purchased at www.TheEagleTheatre.com. For more information, please contact the box office at (609) 704-5012.
