Blue Collar Comedy star Bill Engvall Comes to Resorts Casino Hotel 8/14
Resorts Atlantic City Casino Hotel announced that Bill Engvall, host of the 2009 CMT Music Awards, will perform in the Superstar Theater on Saturday, August 14, 2010.
Perhaps best known for teaming up with other megastar comedians, Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy in the highly successful Blue Collar Comedy franchise, Engvall is one of the fastest rising stars on the comedy circuit and in the entertainment industry. The trio starred in the hugely popular sketch comedy show Blue Collar TV on the WB Network; the Blue Collar Comedy Tour; and the Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie; in addition to other Blue Collar Comedy ventures. The soundtrack to a follow-up tour, "One for the Road," in Washington, DC was nominated for a Grammy Award.
Engvall's signature "Here's Your Sign" jokes display the comedian's natural ability to observe and convey humor in the everyday. As he relates these real-life situations in the hilarious manner of a gifted storyteller, the engaging, down-to-earth Engvall creates a connection with each of his audiences. The multi-talented actor and comedian is an accomplished author as well, having penned "Here's Your Sign" and "Bill Engvall - Just a Guy," among other books.
