Bernardsville Resident Gregory Supron Named Chairman Of The Board Of Trustees Of MPAC

Gregory J. Supron has been named the new Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC). Mr. Supron replaces Joseph M. Goryeb, who rotated off the Board in December 2018.

"Greg has been an instrumental and valuable Board member, helping us advance our mission to entertain, enrich and educate the diverse population of the region, and to help develop strategies to expand our programs in the future," said Allison Larena, President and CEO, MPAC. "His experience and enthusiasm will be essential as we continue to make MPAC the heart of arts and entertainment in the area for years to come."

Mr. Supron has served on the MPAC board since 2013 and has been a member of the Executive, Long Range Strategic Planning and Building Committees. He also chairs the Real Estate Development Ad-Hoc Committee. Prior to being named as Chairman, Mr. Supron served as Vice Chairman of the MPAC Board of Trustees.

I'm excited about the opportunity to help lead MPAC into the future."

Mr. Supron retired in September 2009 from Accenture PLC, where he served as Senior Partner and Managing Director from 1988 - 2009. He earned a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College. Mr. Supron is also a Trustee of the Interfaith Food Pantry in Morristown.

Greg and his wife, Wendy, are long-time supporters of the Theatre. They have three grown children, Michael, Andrew, and Emily, and reside in Bernardsville.

Mayo Performing Arts Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, presents a wide range of programs that entertain, enrich, and educate the diverse population of the region and enhance the economic vitality of Northern New Jersey. The 2018-2019 season is made possible, in part, by a grant the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as support received from the F.M. Kirby Foundation and numerous corporations, foundations and individuals. The Mayo Performing Arts Center has been designated a Major Presenting Organization by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Mayo Performing Arts Center was named 2016 Outstanding Historic Theatre by the League of Historic American Theatres, and is ranked in the top 50 mid-sized performing arts centers by Pollstar Magazine.
