Sidesplitting comedian Wanda Sykes will be performing her stand-up routine live at the Bergen Performing Arts Center on October 13 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $99, $89, $69, $49, $39

Sykes has been called "one of the funniest stand-up comics" and was listed as one of Entertainment Weekly's 25 Funniest People in America. She has won three Emmy Awards and is well known for her hysterical comedy specials. In addition to great comedy specials, Sykes has a FOX late-night talk show The Wanda Sykes Show.

The comedian has had two HBO comedy specials Wanda Sykes: Sick and Tired which first aired in October 2006 and Wanda Sykes: Ima Be Me which first aired in October 2009. She was nominated for an Emmy Award for Sick and Tired and is nominated for two Emmy Awards for Ima Be Me.

In addition to stand-up comedy, Sykes had achieved great success in both films and television. She is a hilarious co-star in The New Adventures of Old Christine playing "Barb". Sykes can also be seen in many films including Evan Almighty, Monster-in-Law, and My Super Ex-Girlfriend.

Sykes' award winning comedy surely will not disappoint. She has perfect timing and can make the simplest story the funniest thing that you have ever heard. This seasoned comedian knows how to keep an audience entertained.
