Amy Schumer Reschedules NJPAC Performance to November 17th
Due to a scheduling conflict, the Amy Schumerperformance originally slated for 9/20 at 7:00pm at New Jersey Performing Arts Center is rescheduled to Saturday, November 17th at 8:00pm. Any tickets already purchased will be honored on the new date. Refunds for the performance can be made at the original point of purchase. Amy Schumer will bring her new comedy tour to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Featuring all new material, the tour will make additional stops in Nashville, Austin, and Atlanta. Additional dates will be announced soon.
Amy Schumer is the creator, star, writer and executive producer of Comedy Central's award-winning Inside Amy Schumer, which earned the 2015 Writers Guild Award for Best Comedy/Variety Sketch series. That same year, the show was honored with the first-ever Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sketch Variety Series. Inside Amy Schumer has also earned awards from the Television Critics Association, the Critics' Choice Television Awards, and was the recipient of the prestigious Peabody Award in 2014.
Schumer's New York Times bestseller, The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, earned her a 2017 GRAMMY Award nomination for Best Spoken Word Album and was released in paperback in August 2017. Her big-screen credits include the smash hit Trainwreck, the mother-daughter comedy Snatched (in which she starred opposite Goldie Hawn), Jason Hall's drama Thank You for Your Service, and this summer's I Feel Pretty.
The Leather Special, Schumer's latest stand-up special, is currently streaming on Netflix. Her 2015 HBO special, Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo (directed by Chris Rock), became HBO's most-watched Saturday night comedy special debut since 2009. She was recently nominated for a Tony Award for her Broadway debut in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower.Schumer also holds the distinction of being the only female comic to headline at Madison Square Garden, and is a proud founding member of Time's Up.
