Aerial Acrobat Entertainment to Offer Aerial and Circus Classes, Beg. 6/2 at Next Step Broadway
Every child has dreamt it at least once -- performing on the trapeze and being a part of the circus. Well, that dream might become a reality! Guinevere DiPiazza, owner of Aerial Acrobat Entertainment, has just announced a new 12-week aerial and circus classes for children and adults starting June 2nd at Next Step Broadway in Jersey City. Classes are drop in over the 12-week period and include a variety of teachings including: silks and hammocks, lyra and trapeze, juggling, plate spinning, rolabola, hula-hoop, diabolo, rolling globe, unicycle and many more!
DiPiazza credits the creation of the course to the growing popularity and interest in the circus industry. "Programs and interest in the industry are gaining traction, especially with youth" said DiPiazza. "Aerial acrobatics is a fun and engaging outlet that allows kids of all ages to grow and learn not only physically but also mentally. With the constant use of technology today, a lot of kids are missing out on great opportunities to stay healthy, while also growing as individuals and exploring their talents. This workshop brings that back and helps young performers really hone in on their skills, while developing friendships along the way."
Head Circus Coach from AAE, Paul Del Corral, agrees with DiPiazza. "Without a doubt, circus arts encourages teamwork and promotes unity through training and a variety of activities. This lively environment helps students gain friendships with fellow classmates, while also teaching them a fun skill that is unique."
