A Chanticleer Christmas At SOPAC

By:

Celebrate the holidays with Chanticleer at the South Orange Performing Arts Center Center on December 3 at 8 p.m. as they perform seasonal anthems and carols written by some of the greatest American musicians. From Billings to Ives to Steven Sametz, this classically rich performance is one you will not want to miss. The Met Review declared Chanticleer "America's a capella pride and joy." With their flawless pitch, infectious spirit and wide-spread musical selection, there's no doubt why people gather every year to ring in the holiday season with Chanticleer. Tickets to the performance can be found at http://www.sopacnow.org/chanticleer-christmas/ or by calling (973) 313-2787.

Founded in San Francisco in 1978, Chanticleer has sold a million records and received two Grammy Awards, and many more nominations. They are an icon of beautiful choral music as they bring joy in music old, new and familiar. The glorious sounds of these 12 male voices have inspired The New Yorker to declare Chanticleer "the world's reigning male chorus." The San Francisco Chronicle praises their "tonal luxuriance and crisply etched clarity."

A Chanticleer Christmas is a celebration of the season for the entire family. The traditional and heartwarming music of the season will fill you with cheer. This performance is proudly sponsored by Anthony and Jennifer Leitner. Get your tickets now to see Chanticleer December 3 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $50-$75 and can be purchased online at SOPACnow.org, or by calling the box office at (973) 313-2787.
