A new folk-rock musical centering on the true story of Sarah Rosetta Wakeman, a young woman who presented herself as a man and joined the Union Army during the Civil War under the name Private Lyons Wakeman. Her letters home chronicle her daily life in the 153rd New York infantry, weaving together the stories of the estimated 400 women who fought in the Civil War. Original music, lyrics, and book by Jenn Grinels. The cast includes Reese Cameron, Jane Bruce, Eric Coles, Galyana Castillo, Michael Milkanin, Brooke Simpson, Wyatt Anton, Marcus A. Brooks, Lucas Hinds Babcock, Jeremiah Garcia, Ethan Yaheen-Moy Chan, and Rowan Box.
