The Palace Theatre continues their Citizens Bank Performing Arts Series with the hilarious farce, Noises Off. Often regarded as the granddaddy of all farce comedy, Noises Off follows a troupe of actors as they put on a touring production of the fictitious sex farce Nothing On.

The show is three acts Act I, seen from the front of the stage, features the gang struggling through their final dress rehearsal before opening night as one thing after another goes awry. Act II, seen from back stage, where the gloves must come off as the show must go on amidst feuding actors, jealous love triangles, and the agony of being forced to rely on the unreliable. Act III, seen once again from the front of the stage, continues the mayhem and hilarity when all-things-bad become all-things-worse.

Artistic Director, Carl Rajotte is excited to bring this show to the Palace. Having performed it twice and directed once before, he is very familiar with the show, "This is one of my favorite comedies of all time" says Rajotte. He notes that Act II gives the audience a rare view of what goes on behind the stage during a performance, the performer's point of view and the chaos which ensues backstage. If you need to laugh, come to this show!

Noises Off begins January 15th and runs through January 23rd. Tickets are $15 to $45 depending on seating and child/senior/adult status. Tickets are available at the Palace Theatre box office, by calling 603.668.5588 or visiting www.palacetheatre.org.
