LOVE/SICK is coming to the Hatbox Theatre from, September 7th through September 23rd, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30, Sundays at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $17, $14 for members, seniors and students and $12 for senior members.

SideLight Productions presents the NH premiere of LOVE/SICK by John Cariani. LOVE/SICK is the followup to Cariani's hit play, Almost Maine. Set on a Friday night in an alternate suburban reality, this 80-minute romp explores the pain and the joy that comes with being in love. A collection of nine slightly twisted and completely hilarious short plays, Cariani describes LOVE/SICK as an "un-romantic comedy" for imperfect lovers and dreamers. The show's exploration of the trials and tribulations of human relationships embodies the same qualities that are so appealing in Almost, Maine. It's likely that LOVE/SICK will soon become a staple of regional, summer stock, community and youth theaters around the country.

LOVE/SICK features a talented cast of community theater veterans and is directed by Bryan Halperin. This is Bryan's second production at Hatbox after last year's award-winning production of Barnum. Many members of the LOVE/SICK creative team also worked on Barnum as well as Concord Community Player's production of Hunchback Notre Dame.

LOVE/SICK is the inaugural show of SideLight Productions. SideLight's mission is to bring together the most talented actors and artists to offer NH audiences high-quality, engaging storytelling.

Hatbox Theatre is a live performance arts space with a mission to create a cooperative community to develop unique, intimate experiences for both audiences and artists.
