Area businesses are invited to Seacoast Repertory Theatre on Tuesday, October 9 at 5:30 pm for Curtain Up: 2013 season reveal. This glimpse of The Rep's upcoming 25th Anniversary Season will feature live performances from the Mainstage musicals, Red Light and Rock The Rep series that will grace the stage in 2013. The event will take place on The Rep's stage at 125 Bow Street in Portsmouth.

In addition to sponsorship opportunities presented by The Rep's popular Mainstage series and PAPA youth program, two new series are available for corporate support – Red Light which features high quality alternative programming including drag, burlesque, and off-beat stage shows and Rock The Rep which will present local rock acts.

Networking and noshing will be a part of the evening and, in addition to the performances by The Rep's resident actors, Members of The Senior Moments troupe and kids from The Rep's PAPA (Portsmouth Academy of Performing Arts) youth program will perform. Craig Faulkner, producing artistic director of The Rep, will announce a season that will be the most diverse in the theatre's history – reflecting not only new programming, but an expansion in outreach and community involvement.

"We have an exciting season planned for 2013. In the non-profit theatre world, a quarter of a century is a milestone. Twenty-five years of keeping the doors open, creating and sharing art is something to celebrate. It's also a testament to this amazing artistic unity we have on the Seacoast – you don't make it this far without community support," said Faulkner.

The staff and board of The Rep hope to see a large turnout of current and future community partners at this event. In addition to sponsorship opportunities, the theatre is also available for corporate events – its space is unique and intimate, and comes with built-in entertainment via the talented resident troupe. Like many non-profits, The Rep is working hard to keep its doors open in a tough economic climate and corporate support is more crucial than ever before. The Rep thanks its current supporters and welcomes new businesses and corporate sponsors to join them as they present their 25th Anniversary Season.
