STAGE TUBE: Timberlane Regional High School Student Stands Up for SWEENEY TODD

By: Apr. 03, 2014

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Timberlane Regional High School planned to present a PG version of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd next spring. However, administrators fear that it is not family friendly; and so, they want to cancel the production. Hundreds of supporters for Sweeney Todd gathered at a meeting yesterday, April 2, to fight for it.

EMT trainee and Timberlane Players member Laura Lingar and New Hampshire resident Kevin Geary defended the production at last night's meeting, and you can check out their amazing speeches below!
