The Peterborough Players' Arts on Screen 2015-2016 Series presents its second Metropolitan Opera Live offering, Giuseppe Verdi's OTELLO, this Saturday, October 17th at 1pm.

Director Bartlett Sher's (winner of the Drama Desk Award for direction of 2008's revival of South Pacific) new production of Verdi's masterful OTELLO probes the Moor's dramatic downfall with an outstanding cast led by Aleksandrs Antonenko in the title role, Sonya Yoncheva as Desdemona, and Željko Lu?i? as Iago. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts.

The Peterborough Players' Arts on Screen series is presented in stunning NEC high definition digital projection and incomparable Dolby Surround Sound. The Met Live series is presented live from New York City's Lincoln Center. Met Live audiences also receive extras: insider interviews plus live behind-the-scenes video of the production.

Met Live tickets are $25 each. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 603-924-7585 or online at PlayersTix.com. Students (with proper ID) can purchase tickets (at the box office) for $20. The Players accepts MasterCard, Visa or American Express.
