New Hampshire Theatre Project to Host Workshops & More This Winter
New Hampshire Theatre Project is offering a variety of workshops for adult professional development this winter, as well as youth acting intensives.
On Mondays from 7-9:30 pm, from January 25 through March 7, NHTP company members and guest artists will offer a variety of exciting workshops for adults. Community members with or without experience will enjoy Storytelling and Improvisation, while those interested in broadening their performance skills can study Chekhov or Lessac techniques, perfect monologues for auditioning, and learn voiceover techniques and acting for the camera. Workshop fees are $40 each, or $30 if you sign up for 4 or more classes. Financial assistance applications are available. Winter courses for students include a Creative Drama workshop on Monday afternoons at 4-5 pm for ages 7-12 with Meghann Beauchamp. Creative Drama will be held February 29, March 7 & March 14. The fee is $100. Also on Mondays, CJ Lewis will offer a Teen Acting Lab from 5:15-6:45 pm on January 26-March 7 for $175. The Teen Lab will focus on a variety of different performing techniques including movement, voice, classical, comedy and improvisation.
