MYSTERIOUS SUBTEXT THEATRE 2K14 LIVE to Premiere at Seacoast Rep, 6/25

Have you ever stayed up too late and watched a film so bad... that it turned out to be hilarious? Have you ever wanted to scream at the screen in a darkened theatre because the plot just took a terrible turn? Do you love Mystery Science Theater 3000? If you said yes to any of these, then you will love Mysterious Subtext Theatre 2K14 LIVE premiering exclusively at Seacoast Repertory Theatre June 25th, 2014 at 7:30pm with the film She Gods of Shark Reef.

Local actors/improvisers Robin Fowler, Brian Paul, Knate Higgins (as Bunny Wonderland!) and Jamie Bradley take to the couch, in a new interactive show in which they will provide live commentary for a Z-Grade film. The film in question for June 25th is Roger Corman's classic and awful cinematic surf massacre She Gods of Shark Reef. A film so bad, it needs to be seen to be believed in this one night only engagement.

A Players Ring transplant, it was imperative to move the hilarity to The Rep with the success of Let's "B" Reel and The Red Light Series. "We've been talking about it for months maybe even close to a year" says Knate Higgins, the special series curator at The Rep and one of the commentators. "We can't wait to just kick back, eat popcorn, and make ourselves (and hopefully the audience!) laugh."

Mysterious Subtext Theatre 2K14 Live! Presents "She Gods of Shark Reef" premiers Wed. June 25th, 2014 at 7:30pm at Seacoast Repertory Theatre. Lobby and Bar open at 6:30pm. All tickets are general admission and are $5. Seating is limited.
