Hatbox Theatre Holds Annual Launch Party to Announce its Upcoming Season ImageConcord area audiences will be able to experience a first taste of Hatbox Theatre's upcoming season when the shows are unveiled at the annual Launch Party performance on Wednesday, May 30 at 7:00pm. Producers, directors, and performers will be on hand to give a taste of each of the 30+ shows, series and special events booked through August of 2019. Tickets are $5.00 for the general public, free for Hatbox Theatre members and are available at www.hatboxnh.com or at the door as space allows.

The Capital region's locally-grown theatre just entered into its third year of providing amazing local entertainment. Since its opening on April 1, 2016, this intimate performance venue (99 seats) has hosted almost 15,000 people who have experienced performances of original plays, classic works, and musicals, as well as, concerts, stand-up comedy, magic, burlesque, spoken word, improv, podcasts, readings, and more. In its brief existence, Hatbox has presented hundreds of performances and garnered awards from NH Magazine ("Best New Theatre"), the NH Theatre Awards -? "Vision & Tenacity" (2016), "Best Community Musical", "Best Director", "Best Lead Actress", "Best Costume Design" (BARNUM, 2017), and recognition in the "Cappies".

A wonderful variety of programming has been selected for the upcoming season, including original works, classics, comedies, musicals, spoken word, concerts, variety entertainment and more. Hatbox audiences will be glad to see not only some returning favorite series, but also some new production companies from throughout New Hampshire who are excited to bring their work to Concord.
