Writers on New England Stage at The Music Hall in Portsmouth welcomes back Dan Brown, author of The Da Vinci Code and Inferno, to discuss his latest novel, ORIGIN, which interweaves codes, science, religion, history, art and architecture. The book starts with the unveiling of a discovery that "will change the face of science" as we know it, hosted by Edmund Kirsh, one of symbologist Robert Langdon's first students at Harvard.

But the meticulously orchestrated evening, set in Bilbao, Spain, erupts into chaos, and Kirsch's precious discovery teeters on the brink of being lost forever. Langdon embarks on a perilous quest to locate the cryptic password that will unlock Kirsh's secret, which involves navigating dark corridors of hidden history and extreme religion and coming to terms with one of humankind's most enduring questions: Will God survive science?
