Standing ovations. Theatre-maker Paul Koek was applauded for his recent music-theatre performance about Moby Dick. He created according to the press a ' spectacular space of sound, images and words. ' Paul Koek goes with the Nationale reisopera The Fairy Queen by Henry Purcell.
Also Kahn own company Vandal factory and Combattimento Consort of the lot. With tension is looking forward to this co-production. Paul Koek is one of our most original theatre makers. His shows are never predictable and always refreshingly different.

With The Fairy Queen wrote Purcell one of his most colorful pieces. A compelling collection of music-theatre scenes, to perform in Shakespeare's A Midsummer night's Dream. In this timeless classic wander four loved ones through the forest, where they hit by fairies. Purcell filled the play with bubbly music. Are Fairy Queen was the hit of the theater season in London 1692/93. The cards are favourable that the piece is a hit again. Paul Koek regards it as ' a celebration of love and life. ' He sees a ' spectacle with lots of color, lots of costumes and many characters ' for itself and ' Puck who accompanies by an electronics rock band. '
