The Netherlands Sets Summer Premiere of Jason Robert Brown's Sweeping Romance THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY

The Bridges of Madison County, with music & lyrics by Jason Robert Brown and book by Marsha Norman, based on the novel by Robert James Waller, will premiere in The Netherlands for a limited run of 2 June and through 12 June.
Based on the best-selling novel, The Bridges of Madison County captures the expanse of the American heartland along with the yearning entangled with one of life's most painful questions, "What if...?" Francesca Johnson, a beautiful Italian woman who married an American soldier to flee war-torn Italy, looks forward to a few days alone on her Iowa farm when her family heads to the 1965 state fair. When a ruggedly handsome National Geographic photographer pulls into her driveway seeking directions, the course of Francesca's life changes forever.
The production stars Lone van Rosendaal as Francesca and René van Kooten as Robert.
