Armin van Buuren, Dash Berlin, Hardwell and More Set for Amsterdam Music Festival 2014; Lineup Announced!
On Saturday October 18, ALDA Events and ID&T present another brand new edition of Amsterdam Music Festival. This year they are going even bigger than last year by taking the show to the Amsterdam ArenA to host the biggest dance floor during ADE. In addition to a location with a larger capacity, Amsterdam Music Festival returns with an impressive line-up including some of the most popular DJs of the world. With heavyweight names Armin van Buuren, Dash Berlin, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Wildstylez and W&W (*in alphabetical order) taking the stage, this year's edition is bound to be unique!
Amsterdam Music Festival will again be hosting this years DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll. At midnight the world's new No.1 DJ will be announced during a spectacular ceremony following the voting where hundreds of thousands of people have cast their votes. #AMF2014 is all about the DJs:
Armin van Buuren: No one was voted most popular DJ in the world more often than Armin van Buuren. This December he will host 'Armin Only Intense: The Final Shows' in the Ziggo Dome twice, which sold out within the hour.
Dash Berlin: Voted 10th most popular DJ in the world in the DJ Mag Top100 DJs list of 2013, we are very happy to have Dash Berlin at Amsterdam Music Festival since this is going to be one of the few Dash Berlin shows in the Netherlands this year.
David Guetta: As a DJ and producer David Guetta has sold over six million albums and 15 million singles worldwide and has worked with the world's biggest artists. He also played a key role in Electronic Dance Music's (EDM) American takeover.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike: This energetic Greek/Belgian duo is present at Amsterdam Music Festival for the second year in a row. Their performance was one of last year's highlights. They've also played a major role in the popularity of Tomorrowland, since they've produced the festival anthem of the Belgian mega-festival since 2010.
Hardwell: The current No. 1 DJ in the world and the youngest winner of the Top 100 DJs Poll ever. After a great year with shows in the USA, Brazil en Australia the key question is: will he be able to maintain the No.1 position this year?
Martin Garrix: This rising star of EDM is an absolute must at Amsterdam Music Festival. He is best known for the track "Animals", which was a Top 10 hit in more than 10 countries and has peaked at number 1 in Belgium and the United Kingdom.
Wildstylez: With Hardstyle becoming more and more influential everywhere, including the burgeoning EDM scene in the USA, Wildstylez seems like the designated artist to keep building new bridges between Hardstyle and the other genres of Electronic Dance Music.
W&W: Two of the most talented producers and DJs of their generation who also performed at #AMF2013 last year. Energetic, enthusiastic and unstoppable. W&W is most likely going surpass their set from last year.
