Untitled Nashville's HOT MESS Set for 6/15

By:

Untitled Nashville's summer art show, Hot Mess, will take place June15 from 6-10 p.m. at Welcome to 1979, an analog recording studio at 1110 48th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37209.

Turnip Green Creative Reuse is once again partnering with Untitled with a pop-up store full of great items ready to be repurposed for creative endeavors. Turnip Green will have a music related make-it and take-it booth to let people get hands-on experience creating art from items that would otherwise go to a landfill. Also making Hot Mess just a little hotter -- this event also serves as the 4thAnniversary celebration for Welcome to 1979.

A wide variety of artists are participating and most of the works are for sale. Untitled’s uncensored and unjuried exhibits typically feature between 60 and125 artists from around Middle Tennessee, and are free and open to the public.Hot Mess is an 18 and older show.

In addition to the art on the walls, there will be art walking around to mix and mingle with guest as part of a body art painting exhibition from body paint artists Michelle “Bodypainter” Thornhill and Raven Lee.

Music will be provided the band Hot Mess, one of the Live on the Green Final Four, and DJ Get Better. The event is hosted by Dominique and the event will feature a performance by Shannon Million. A photo booth will be provided by Anjeanette Illustration.

Sponsors for the evening include: Advocate Marketing & Print, Performance Studios, Plaza Artist Materials, Jerry's Artarama Nashville, Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School Nashville and Harlow: A Salon on Music Row.
