The Center for the Arts will present the musical comedy "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" weekends March 7-23, with Friday and Saturday shows at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

Directed by Kim Powers with assistance from Lisa Mclaurin, the musical is based on the 1988 film which starred Michael Payne and Steve Martin as two con artists who compete to swindle $50,000 from an American "heiress" named Christine Colgate at the French Riviera.

Playing the scoundrel roles at the Center will be Chris McLaurin as the resident con man Lawrence and Michael Adcock as the brash American swindler Freddy. Other lead performers are William Visher as Andre, Jenna Pryor as Christine, Julie Wilcox as Muriel and Janet Galvao as Jolene. Music director is Sam Hagler and Julie Wilcox is the choreographer.

Ensemble members include Edy Wilson, Deanna Payne, Jenny McCluskey, J.T. Powers, Josh Ball, Diane Lane Lunn, Debbie Denson Lloyd, Dan Garner, Emily Davis, Tami Garner, Candi Ford, Jill Thomas, Eric Lane, Troy Brock, Jared Taylor, Joel Zachary and Luin Turner.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors 60 and up, students and military, and $11 for children 12 and under. For more information, go to www.boroarts.org or call 615 904-2787.
