The Boiler Room Theatre Presents CLUE The Musical, Opens 10/9

The Boiler Room Theatre (BRT), Williamson County's resident professional theatre company, will present the musical comedy CLUE The Musical, based on the popular board game. CLUE The Musical will begin on Oct. 9, 2009 at thetheater, located in the historic Factory at Franklin, 230 Franklin Rd., Building Six, for a run through Nov. 7, 2009.

With book by Peter De Pietro, lyrics by Tom Chiodo and music by Galen Blum,Wayne Barker and Vinnie Martucci, CLUE The Musical quickly became an internationaltheatrical sensation, wowing both audiences and media alike. BRT's production willimmerse guests in an environmental show where the action happens all around them.

Featuring the beloved board game characters including Colonel Mustard, Mrs. Peacock,Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mr. Boddy and the rest, the show sings and dances its way into the hearts of guests as well as into their suspicion as audiences try to guess which of the 216 possible endings - different with every performance - is the answer to: whodunit,in what room, and with what weapon.

At the start of each performance, three audience members select one card each from an oversized deck and place it in an envelope. The chosen cards determine theending of the show, with 216 possible conclusions. The card selections also determinesome of the dialogue certain members of the cast will deliver as the play unfolds. CLUE The Musical ran Off-Broadway at The Players Theatre, after a run in Chicago and a world premiere in Baltimore.BRT's production of CLUE The Musical features Joe Robinson as Mr. Boddy, Kendra Ford as Mrs. Peacock, Dan McGeachy as Professor Plum, Laura Thomas Sonn asMiss Scarlet, Dan Zeigler as Colonel Mustard, Sondra Morton as Mrs. White, Will Sevieras Mr. Green and Nancy Whitehead as the Detective. Corbin Green is the show'sdirector.

Costume designs are by Melissa Cannon and choreography is by Lauri Gregoire.CLUE The Musical plays Oct. 9 through Nov. 7, 2009 with performances on Tuesdays, Thursdays (Oct. 15 and Nov. 5), Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., withdiscount Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. on Oct. 18 and Nov. 1.

Ticket prices are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors (age 60 and up) and students (age13 through college with valid ID), and $19 for children ages 3 through 12. Matinee pricesare $2 less respectively. All Tuesday shows are two-for-one ($25 for two tickets; no otherdiscounts apply). Tickets for BRT's "Thrifty Thursday" shows are $15 (no otherdiscounts apply).
