Roxy Regional Theatre Executive Director Ryan Bowie Serves Up 40 Characters In FULLY COMMITTED In Theotherspace ImageNearly forty characters appear in the latest offering upstairs in the Roxy Regional Theatre's theotherspace, and all of them are played by Executive Director Ryan Bowie.

Becky Mode's wildly funny one-man tour de force, FULLY COMMITTED, plays the 50-seat black-box theatre located upstairs at the Roxy for four evenings only, February 26 - March 6.

Described by The NY Times "a richly comic affirmation of everything ever heard, or suspected, about the bad behavior that good food can inspire," the play centers on Sam, a struggling actor who works as a reservation clerk at a chic Manhattan restaurant. Coercion, threats, bribes, histrionics -- a cast of desperate callers will stop at nothing in their zeal to land a prime reservation, or the right table.

Amid the barrage, Sam has his own needs to contend with -- his recently widowed dad wants him home for Christmas, and he's up for a choice part at Lincoln Center. While juggling scheming socialites, name-dropping wannabes, fickle celebrities and ego-maniacal bosses, can he manage to look out for himself?

No stranger to the world of one-man comedy, Ryan Bowie has previously shown his versatility in the stage adaptation of David Sedaris' hilarious holiday essay THE SANTALAND DIARIES; Jonathan Tolins' comedy about an underemployed actor working in Barbra Streisand's basement, BUYER & CELLAR; and Fred Barton's previously untold story of the black-and-white alter ego to The Wicked Witch of the West, MISS GULCH RETURNS! -- not to mention his two wildly popular turns in the one-man/one-woman show HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. Bowie's performance in FULLY COMMITTED only further illustrates his talents of seemingly effortlessly bringing life to a diverse range of roles.

FULLY COMMITTED is presented in part through the generous support of Tim & Kris Lee and plays at 7:00pm on February 26, February 27, March 5 and March 6. Due to language and content, this production is recommended for mature audiences only.

Tickets are $15 and may be purchased online at www.roxyregionaltheatre.org, by phone at (931) 645-7699, or at the theatre during regular box office hours (9:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday, and one hour prior to curtain).
