Pull-Tight Prelude Features 'How to Succeed in Business....A Musical and Its Time' March 15
A press release notes: "Don't miss our next Pull-Tight Prelude this Sunday, March 15, at 2pm at the theatre. The topic is "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying: A Musical and Its Time" with speaker Professor Jim Lovensheimer, Assistant Professor of Musicology at the Blair School of Music of Vanderbilt University. The recipient of Vanderbilt's Ingalls Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching in 2008 and of the prestigious Chancellor's Cup in fall of 2009, Jim is also the author of South Pacific: Paradise Rewritten, which will be published in early 2010 by Oxford University Press.
He's a lot of fun, always lively, and is likely to have an answer for any questions you have about How to Succeed. Refreshments are free. There's also a door prize of 2 tickets to the show.
If you've wanted an opportunity to work on a show at Pull-Tight, here's your chance! We are looking for some folks who might be available to work as backstage hands on How to Succeed. Please email stage manager Hanes Sparkman at hsparkman@comcast.net if you would be interested in helping out."
