'Poe Unearthed' set for Halloween Performances at Roxy Theatre

Clarksville's Roxy Regional Theatre invites audiences to "journey throught the mysterious mind of Edgar Allen Poe this Halloween with the presentation of Poe Unearthed, a theatrical complilation of several tales from Poe's anthology of works.

Actor Jay Doolittle and three accomplices will bring to life favorites such as "The Cask of Amantillado," "The Masque of the Red Death," "The Tell-Tale Heart" and "The Raven," allowing audiences to "descend iinto the macabre madness of murderers, merry-makers and haunted souls described in grosteque detail by a mater of language."

The speciAl Halloween performance-Saturday, October 31-will be staged at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids 13 and younger. Tickets may be purchased online at www.roxyregionaltheatre.org, or by calling (931) 645-7699 during regular box office hours (9 a.m. to 2 p.m., weekdays).
