Voice students of critically acclaimed soprano Katherine Sandoval Taylor will be presented in a theatrical showcase on Saturday, February 10, at Murfreesboro's Washington Theatre at Patterson Park.

"Throughout my career, I have had the honor and privilege of working with some of the top vocal and theatrical instructors in the business," Taylor explains. "In keeping with that tradition of excellence, my goal for the KST Studio of Voice is to provide students with the highest level of vocal instruction, collaborate with some of my most gifted and talented contemporaries, and give students unique and exciting performing opportunities."

According to Taylor, this year's Winter Showcase will feature many of the KST Studio of Voice students, who will be performing a wide range of musical selections in a fully staged show, complete with solos, small and large ensemble performances.

Among students featured in Saturday's showcase are Callum Ammons, Sarah Gwen Arnold, Shiloh Bakalyar, James Bessant, Addison Burns, RaeLynn Dennis, Reagan Fitzwater, Olivia Hollandsworth, Rachel Hortert, Abby Jackson, Ava Jolley, Katie Ledford, Tori Lester, Gracie Lynch, Diana Mosley, Erin Seifert, Sophie Stanley, Mackenize Turney, Sarah Tuverson and Emily Walker.

Song selections are from a wide range of musicals, including Dear Evan Hansen, Spring Awakening, Matilda, The Music Man, Guys and Dolls, Once and more.

"We can't wait to share our beauty, power, emotion and joy with all who attend," she says.

Taylor directs the showcase, which features musical direction by Hailey Anthum Hunter. The showcase is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. Only a few tickets remain, but they are available at www.katherinesandovaltaylor.com.
