Hendersonville Performing Arts Company Presents Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
The Hendersonville Performing Arts Company proudly presents Disney's Beauty and the Beast, opening February 15th and running through March 4th. Shows will be held on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday's and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
Step into the enchanted world of Broadway's classic, an international sensation that has played to over 35 million people worldwide in 13 countries. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production ran for over 13 years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The classic story tells of "Belle", a young woman in a provincial town, and the "Beast," who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress.
This "tale as old as time" is filled with spectacular costumes and amazing talent featuring Emma Puerta as "Belle" and Deron Martel as "Beast" along with a host of other talented actors, dancers and singers from all over the Middle Tennessee area. Beauty and the Beast offers a great opportunity to bring your entire community together for family theatre at its best.
