Absinthe Broadway Cabaret Launches Master Classes in the Arts

By:

Absinthe, A Broadway Cabaret, LLC, is pleased to announce the sponsorship of MasterClass Guild, Nashville Conservatory of the Arts. Absinthe Cabaret's CEO, Carolan Trbovich explains, "Through Absinthe Cabaret's shows and classes with guests artists, I noted a desire that creative students had for personal development in the Arts, beyond the traditional classroom setting. By way of connecting to professionals working in the field, students garner a better understanding of how things work from an insider's perspective. In reaching out to friends in the industry, we created a way to link the novice with the master. I am proud to say some of my most distinguished colleagues are slated to teach. Education enthusiasts, Miller Piano, also stepped up to the plate as a gracious host for our series of programs".

MCG offers an 8-week series of master sessions taught by industry professionals, focusing on Songwriting, Vocal Training, Piano, Film and Music Publishing. Additionally, min-workshops covering Pro Tools, Film Editing, Performance and Song Plugging are scheduled. Guest celebrities and music industry professionals are scheduled for MCG's guest lecture series. Networking and talent showcase opportunities are woven in to the master class program, designed specifically to enhance the learner's personal development and connect them to industry pros and mentors. Private instruction is open to those seeking a more concentrated method of honing in on their craft.

MasterClass Guild's impressive roster of instructors include Stephen Yake, Yake Films/Film & Video, Janie West, Janie West Music/Music Publishing, Rick Elias, Ragamuffin Band, That Thing You Do/Songwriting, Crystal Burks, Elite Music Instruction/recording engineer, Piano, Jaime Babbitt, vocalist, Disney coach, and Stephanie Adlington, vocalist, Belmont instructor/Vocal Training.

Classes, designed for adults 17 and over, will begin Saturday, August 1st at Miller Piano in Cool Springs, with other courses starting on August 7th and 8th. Students are encouraged to book early as class size is limited and programs are expected to fill quickly.
