An afternoon celebrating exceptional young talent from the Schulich School of Music of McGill University, performing magnificent worksincluding Verdi’s Hymn, March and Dance from the Act II Finale of Aida; Wagner’s Prelude from Act III of Lohengrin; Ravel’s Daphnis and Chloé Suite No. 2, and Kaijo Saariaho’s Laterna Magica. The incomparable Maestro Alexis Hauser will lead the McGill Symphony Orchestra, and Finnish composer Kaijo Saariaho will be in attendance. Her music will transport you to an ethereal, dream-like world that will captivate your imagination.
