Verge Presents FIVE LESBIANS EATING A QUICHE and RED vs. THE WOLF, Sept 2013

In the month of September, Verge Main Stage will be putting on two productions, 5 LESBIAN'S EATING A QUICHE for older audiences, and RED VS THE WOLF for younger audiences.

We're not messing around at Verge Theater this 2013-2014 Season!! And to show our seriousness we're opening the season with 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche!!

In 1956, The Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein gather for their annual quiche-off. Seventy-one widows have come together in a community hall to pay homage to their favorite delicacy. The club is dealing with traditional issues: ineffective members, recent refurbishment and nuclear annihilation. When a siren signals a homeland threat, the sisterhood unites and divides over secrets and a prize-winning quiche.

As audience members you are part of the sisterhood, so come and let your voice be heard! Show run on Fridays and Saturdays from tonight, Sept. 20th-Oct. 5th at 8pm. And just for the fun of it we're offering a free drink with every ticket on opening weekend! Tickets are $12 and $10 for Students/Seniors. Red vs The Wolf

We've all heard the story of Little Red Riding Hood. But how often has it been told from the Wolf's point of view? Yes, this kind, sensitive wolf gentleman is upset, for he has been maligned by society because of a story that has been repeated to generations of children. He is determined to tell the story as it really happened, of the true nature of Red Riding Hood and his own good intentions. There are two sides to every story. You've heard Red's side, now come and here what the wolf has to say!!
