On 4 July 2015, the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival presents a special concert Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, pop icons and multiple Grammy® Awards winners.
This exceptional day is part of a special tour celebrating the release of their jazz album "Cheek To Cheek" which just won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album traditional. Upcoming shows sold out Radio City Music Hall in New York and the Royal Albert Hall in London, through the recent concerts also sold out at Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles until New Year's Eve concert at Chelsea Las Vegas, Bennett and Gaga admired by audiences across the world and will do the same at the Sporting Monte-Carlo during this exceptional day. Following the format of the album, the concert will resume their interpretations of classic jazz standards in solo and duet. Both artists will be accompanied by their own rhythms of jazz.
Launched in September 2014 and awarded a Grammy Award, the "Cheek To Cheek" album is a result of acclaimed both by fans and critics. It starts at the top of the charts Billboard Top 200 Jazz Albums, and Traditional Jazz Albums. This amazing musical collaboration honors the Great American Songbook composed by jazz legends George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern and Irving Berlin. The album also includes timeless songs like But Beautiful, I Will not Dance, Nature Boy, Anything Goes, and I Can not Give You Anything But Love. The disc is praised for highlighting the chemistry between the two artists that 60 years separate. Its unprecedented success makes Bennett the oldest artist to have an album to top the Billboard charts and is the third consecutive # 1 single for Lady Gaga.
