Max Emanuel Cencic began his career with the small singers of Vienna, where he became one of the best-known members. In 1992, he began a career as a soprano soloist. It is in 2001 it changed its tessitura to quickly become a countertenor acclaimed around the world. With its new program, Max Emanuel Cencic presents a selection of Arias from the rococo period. These Arias, from lyrical works by Baldassare Galuppi, Johann Adolf Hasse, Niccolò Jommeli, Ferdinando Bertoni and Christoph Willibald Gluck, invite you to a journey in time, toward this music suspended between the Baroque and classical period. A time of transition stylistic, exuberant and virtuoso. It is simultaneously a homage to Gluck, whose year 2014 marks the 300th anniversary of the birth. In introducing the work of the young Gluck and his contemporaries, this program was resurrected moments the most dramatic and the most illustrious of the opera seria.
