The cast from Stages Theatre Company's (STC) current production, The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, successfully raised more than $3,000 for the American Red Cross. Hundreds of people watched the performance Monday night at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. All proceeds from ticket sales and additional donations go towards assisting the earthquake survivors in Haiti.

In light of recent events, the cast of The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats purposed the idea of adding an extra performance and sending the proceeds to misplaced people of Haiti. "We were excited to see our idea become a reality, and hope that our idea inspires many others to help Haiti and others around the world in need," said cast member Anna Esposito.

Tickets are still available for The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, which ends Feb. 14. To purchase individual tickets, please visit http://www.stagestheatre.org/ or call the box office at (952) 979-1111, Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
