Yellow Tree Theatre will close the world premiere of Lena Long Legs, a one-act play by Yellow Tree founder Jessica Lind on March 14th. The production began performance February 12th. The production runs in concurrence with Anna and August by Don Zolidis, which will also close on March 14th.

Coming off of the sold-out run of her original work Miracle on Christmas Lake, playwright Lind offers up a quirky and poignant tale with Lena Long Legs, about a fashion model facing a career-threatening illness. Lena Long Legs will be accompanied by the hilarious coming-of-age comedy, Anna and August, a one act play by Minnesota playwright Don Zolidis.

Lena Long Legs
A world premiere by Yellow Tree founder Jessica Lind
Lena is a model who's got it all until she faces a potentially career-threatening illness. With the help of Fridley, a wanna be rock star, and her kleptomaniac best friend, Tina, Lena navigates through the biggest challenge of her life: what to be when she grows up.

Anna and August
by Don Zolidis
In this coming-of-age comedy, teenage angst is at its best. Anna is a purple belt in Tae Kwan Do and the smartest girl in school. Regrettably, her tendency to punch boys in the face has made her a less-than-desirable romantic prospect. That is, until a boy comes along who seems to appreciate her weirdness. Unfortunately, the course of weird love never did run smooth. A quirky play about the ups and downs of young love, August and Anna yanks at the heartstrings of anyone who's ever gone through puberty.
