UP WITH PEOPLE SET FOR Woodbury Community Theatre

Arts Connection and Woodbury Community Theatre will partner with the international organization Up with People and their upcoming visit to Woodbury! The performance proceeds will benefit the new Merrill Community Arts Center - Rivertown Campus which serves as Woodbury Community Theatre's new "backstage" home for auditions, rehearsals, set, props and costume making and storage.

Up with People is a non-profit global education organization focused on bringing the world together through service and music. The current cast is made up of 100 young people from 19 different countries who range in age from 17-29 years old. They're arriving in Woodbury on September 12 for a one-week stay to take part in a variety of community service projects (including one with Arts Connection) and getting to know all of you and the great Midwestern culture!

There are a few ways that you and your family can get involved:

Host an Up with People Cast Member...it's simple and FUN! Provide a place to sleep, breakfast and dinner and limited transportation in the morning and evening from Sept. 12-18.
