With worldwide record sales in the millions, and dozens of platinum and gold albums to his credit, Bennett is a musician who touches the hearts and souls of audiences with his legendary vocals and charming stage presence. In a momentous 60 year career, he was won 18 Grammy Awards, including the prestigious Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, making this artist a true international treasure. Often billed as the world's most boyish octogenarian, Bennett is a vital musical artist at the peak of his powers.

No one in popular American music has recorded for so long and at such a high level of excellence as Bennett. He is one of a handful of artists to have albums charting in seven decades. Bennett, along with jazz pianist Bill Charlap, was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category for the jazz piano album, "The Silver Lining: The Songs of Jerome Kern." Released in September 2015, the album debuted at number one on Billboard's Traditional Jazz Album charts and has received widespread critical acclaim. It was the first recording he released after the overwhelming success of his Grammy Award-winning collaborative effort with Lady Gaga, "Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek To Cheek."

Bennett got his break around 1950 when Bob Hope saw him performing in Greenwich Village, and Mitch Miller later signed him to Columbia Records. His signature tunes, such as "Steppin' Out With My Baby" and "I Left My Heart In San Francisco," have become become pop music standards and were introduced into the Great American Songbook. He has a long list of achievements including Kennedy Center Honors and the Billboard Magazine Century Award for his outstanding contributions to music.
