Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) presents The House of Blue Leaves in weekend performances April 29 through May 22.

Artie dreams of making it big as a songwriter in Hollywood -- if he can only get away from his apartment in New York and his manic wife. But today it could happen - today the Pope is coming to Yankee Stadium, and Artie is convinced a papal blessing can make his dream come true. Then his son shows up, AWOL from the Army, with a homemade bomb to blow up His Holiness. An award-winning surreal comedy by one of theatre's top playwrights.

Benjamin S. Kutschied directs the 11-member cast featuring Don Eitel as Artie, Kari Elizabeth Godfrey as Bunny, and Kelli Gorr Raney as Bananas. Sets are designed by Philip Hoks, costumes by Rebecca Karstad, with lighting by Mark Halvorson.

An audience discussion with members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, May 15.

Tickets are $22. For information, call the theatre's box office at 612-333-3010 or visit its website at www.TheatreintheRound.org.
