Theatre in the Round Players presents the area premiere of PANACHE by Don Gordon January 8 - 31, 2010

Post-show discussion with company after matinee on January 24th

Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) presents the area premiere of the romantic comedy "Panache" by Don Gordon in weekend performances January 8th through the 31st.

Kathleen Trafalgar, a fur-wearing, country-club snob, knocks on the apartment door of Harry Baldwin, a hard-drinking short-order cook who has no ambition -- but who does have "PANACHE", the vanity license plate she wants. This area premiere is an unpredictable romantic comedy of smart, fast banter and real emotion. "...an old fashioned verbal pas-de-deux...the playwright is a shameless word lover..." N.Y. Times

Leah Cooper directs a cast of five featuring Adam Whisner as Harry Baldwin and Maggie Bearmon Pistner as Kathleen Trafalgar. Sets are designed by Andrew Gregg, costumes by Lisa Conley, and lighting by Tyler Lambert-Perkins.

A discussion with director Cooper and members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, January 24th.

Tickets are $20, with discounts for seniors and a student price of $10 on Fridays and Sundays. For information, call the theatre's box office at 612-333-3010 or visit its website at www.TheatreintheRound.org.
