Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) opens its 66th season with the ingenious farce Taking Steps, in weekend performances from September 8 through October 1.

Hard-drinking tycoon Roland is meeting with his lawyer and a contractor in the crumbling old mansion he wants to buy. They're joined by his unhappy wife, his brother-in-law, and others, and soon all are chasing from room to room as simple misunderstandings escalate into a hilarious evening of theatre. This ingenious farce was written to be performed in-the-round by comic master Alan Ayckbourn - a perfect fit for TRP's signature arena!

DAnn Peterson directs the 6-member cast, with sets and costumes designed by John A. Woskoff and lighting by Andrew Troth.

An audience discussion with members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, September 24.

Tickets are $22. For information, call the theatre's box office at 612-333-3010 or visit its website at www.TheatreintheRound.org.
