The World Crime League to Present THE DEAD OF WINTER DOUBLE FEATURE

The World Crime League Theatre Company will present THE DEAD OF WINTER DOUBLE FEATURE - two horror-themed one-act plays.

Step out of the cold and join the World Crime League for an evening of chills as they present two horror-based one-acts. Warning! These plays are not for the squeamish or weak of heart.

"...Days Gone By" by Dustin D. Miller
In this tragedy set in the midst of a zombie pandemic, an old man sits alone in his farmhouse, writing in his diary and trying to piece together the events of the past six days of his life.

"The Surgeon" by Andy Rakerd
In this world-premiere horror thriller, a mysterious killer has been robbing his victims of their internal organs. Detective Blair and Detective Barrow of The Minneapolis Police are on the case. However, with no evidence left at any of the crime scenes, could there be greater forces at work?

The cast includes Varghese Alexander, Tyus Beeson, Christopher Kent, Emilie LaBonte, Jasmine Magner, Hazen Markoe, Dorothy Owens, GillIan Randall, Amanda Schille Chase, and Maggie Mae Sulentic.

Times: 7:30pm on February 9, 10, and 11. 3:00pm on February 12.

Location: The Phoenix Theatre, 2605 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55408.

Tickets/Pricing: $15-$20 sliding scale February 9, 10, and 11. "Pay what you dare" on February 12. Tickets available online for reservations, or at the door.

Content: Violence, gunshots, and strong language: recommended for ages 16+.
