SISTER'S CHRISTMAS CATECHISM: The Mystery of the Magi's Gold Arrives At The Ordway 11/18
"Sister's Christmas Catechism," the newest interactive holiday offering in the Twin Cities, arrives at Ordway Center for the Performing Arts' McKnight Theatre on November 18 for 36 performances. This production, featuring a return engagement by the hilarious and uproarious Kimberly Richards, is sure to bring joy and laughter to your holiday season.
In this latest addition to the "Late Nite Catechsim" series, Sister employs techniques from her favorite TV show, "Forensic Files" to tackle the mystery surrounding the whereabouts of the Magi's Gold. As she points out in her hilarious opening, "We know what happened to the myrrh and the frankincense - Mary used them as a sort of potpourri. They were in a barn after all. But who was the culprit who made off with the gold coins and left Mary, Joseph and the infant Jesus in that lousy stable without any chance to upgrade to a suite?"
The Ordway celebrates its 25th anniversary season as one of the nation's leading not-for-profit performing arts centers and Saint Paul's most elegant and inviting performance space. The Ordway's Main Hall and McKnight Theatre stages attract diverse audiences with an array of productions showcasing the finest in American musical theater, world music, jazz, dance, and vocal performance.
