Rock of Ages, the five-time Tony nominated musical and love story told through the hits of iconic '80s rockers such as Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake and more, returns to Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre, May 17-19, 2013. This awesomely good time features nearly 30 chart-topping hits from "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Here I Go Again" to "Can't Fight This Feeling" and "We Built This City." In 1987 on the Sunset Strip, a small-town girl meets a big-city dreamer-and in L.A.'s most legendary rock club, they fall in love to the greatest songs of the '80's. Rock of Ages is a worldwide phenomenon with a smash hit production in London, still rockin' on Broadway and a 2012 movie from New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. starring Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Rock of Ages first played in Minneapolis at the Orpheum Theatre in October 2010.

Rock of Ages is directed by Tony Award nominee Kristin Hanggi (Bare and Pussycat Dolls on the Sunset Strip) and choreographed by Kelly Devine (Jersey Boys associate choreographer). It features a book by Chris D'Arienzo (writer and director of the film Barry Munday), original arrangements by David Gibbs (Counting Crows and "That Thing You Do") and music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Ethan Popp (Tarzan, We Will Rock You and Mamma Mia!).

Set design is by Beowulf Boritt (Spelling Bee and LoveMusik), costume design is by Tony Nominee Gregory Gale (Cyranoand The Wedding Singer), lighting design is by Jason Lyons (The Threepenny Opera), sound design is by Craig Cassidy (The Phantom of the Opera and Mamma Mia!) and projection design is by Zachary Borovay (A Catered Affair).

The show stars Dominique Scott as Drew, Shannon Mullen as Sherrie and Universo Pereira as Stacee Jaxx. Minneapolis natives Megan McHugh and Danny Mchugh are also part of the cast. Rock of Ages is produced by Phoenix Entertainment. For more information, please visit www.rockofagesontour.com.
