Lex-Ham Music Festival To Happen at O'Gara's Garage, Jan. 30
The Lex-Ham Community Band will host some of the best music in and around St. Paul's Lexington-Hamline neighborhood at the 2010 Lex-Ham Music Festival from 2-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30 at O'Gara's Garage, Snelling & Selby.
The FREE event will feature: Groups from Central High School, Groups from Ramsey Jr High, the rock group Overdrive, Twin Cities Youth Band, the jazz ensemble TMI, the jazz ensemble Cadenza Music All-Stars and, of course, the Lex-Ham Community Band.
The event provides a unique opportunity for people to hear both youth and adult talented music ensembles from the area in one venue. Also musicians from those ensembles can hear each other allowing the youth to see that music can be enjoyed throughout one's life and for the adults to be amazed by the talented youth and school groups.
