Hennepin Theatre Trust's BROADWAY CONFIDENTIAL Begins 3rd Season

Hennepin Theatre Trust today announced a new season of Broadway Confidential, the Monday night series of behind-the-scenes talks by theatre experts delving into the background of musicals coming to the Orpheum and Pantages Theatre during the 2012/13 Broadway Season.

The conversations will be held each Monday before the opening night of shows from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the New Century Theatre (615 Hennepin Avenue on the main floor of City Center). Now in its third year, the series runs October 2012 through June 2013 and is linked to shows including Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Catch Me If You Can, Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida, The Book of Mormon, Flashdance, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s MARY POPPINS and War Horse

Broadway Confidential begins on Monday, Oct. 15 and highlights Michael Gruber, known for his Broadway roles in A Chorus Line andCats and local choreography of Eastview High School’s award-winning production of Beauty and the Beast. It previews Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, opening the 2012/13 Broadway Season Oct. 16-21, 2012 at Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Orpheum Theatre. Tickets for the first event are on sale now. Individual Broadway Confidential  tickets are $15.
