DanceCo Preps for Opening of EXPECTATION STATION

DanceCo presents its dynamic new production Expectation Station next week, October 17-22 at the Avalon Theater (home of In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre) 1500 East Lake Street, Minneapolis.

Featuring live music from the Roe Family Singers and "Engineer" Paul Howe with performers including theatre artist Rebecca Surmont, dancers Heather Cadigan-Brockman, Benjamin Johnson, Brittany Keefe, Jennifer Pray, Stephen Schroeder and Brian Sostek. "This production has a seasoned team of artists and musicians who are all working hard to make Expectation Station a very special show," said Artistic Director Matthew Keefe. "They're inspired. Watching them work in the studio has been a thrill, I can't wait to show the public what we have created!"

All tickets are $10, ages 2 and under get free lap passes! Ten daytime, matinee and evening performances October 17-22: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 10 am, Friday - 10 am / 7pm, Saturday -10am / 2pm / 7pm, Sunday - 12pm and 2pm.

A 20-minute pre-show workshop will teach kids 3-12 years some train-themed movement that will be used in audience participation sections of the show. It will be an experience the kiddos will love! The show will run one hour and include dance, live music, puppetry and lots of trains!
